It is with great pleasure that we can finally announce, after 3 + years, the pending birth of our new record!!! On October 27th, 2009, our second album “Diamonds & Studs” will hit stores!!!  www.morningwoodrocks.com

As some of you may know, the long delay was in large part due to our parting ways with our old record label (whose name shall go upspoken). Over the last year we considered many options as to how we should move forward and with whom we should release this album which means so effin’ much to us. Ultimately for the first time EVER, we decided to forge a partnership with the folks at Vh1, who’s love of music is far beyond that of ANY traditional record label we’ve encountered. This new record label is not only a milestone for us but also for VH1 and together we are going to bring our music to you in a bagillion awesome ways!! We are so excited!! To kick of the month of October, our new video for the first single best of me debuted on Vh1! As well, they have selected us as a You Oughta Know artist, which is a huge honor and puts us in bed with some of todays most awesome musical acts. Be sure to tune in! In the coming days and weeks we will be announcing so much exciting news, including confirmed dates for the tour we are going out on with Papa Roach, Jet & our friends Kill Hannah. We really can’t wait to get back out on the road and play all these new songs for you guys. It’s been far too long and we miss you! Not gonna lie but they sound sort of amazing-some!
