Game of Thrones, the new fantasy series based on the novels  by George R.R. Martin, has been greenlit by HBO, and my writing partner and Juilliard classmate Bryan Cogman, has been greenlit with it!

He is the script coordinator, and is the writer of the fourth episode!  Therefore, I dub him: The Green Lantern.

In keeping with the green theme he will be in Ireland, so we’ve agreed all future collaborations will use the word ‘feck’ and the name ‘Ab Sheehan.’

In 2005 I wrote the film Press or Say 2 which explored the relationship between China (Communist) and IBM (Capitalist), when Lenovo, a Chinese company, bought IBM’s computer making division. Notice how there’s no more IBM computers around?

The question I explored was: how would a communist company deal with tech support – that supremely capitalist form of customer service?

My imagined result pretty much matched the reality: The Chinese government has hacked into the world’s computers, starting with Google.

As some of you may know, the long delay was in large part due to our parting ways with our old record label (whose name shall go upspoken). Over the last year we considered many options as to how we should move forward and with whom we should release this album which means so effin’ much to us. Ultimately for the first time EVER, we decided to forge a partnership with the folks at Vh1, who’s love of music is far beyond that of ANY traditional record label we’ve encountered. This new record label is not only a milestone for us but also for VH1 and together we are going to bring our music to you in a bagillion awesome ways!! We are so excited!! To kick of the month of October, our new video for the first single best of me debuted on Vh1! As well, they have selected us as a You Oughta Know artist, which is a huge honor and puts us in bed with some of todays most awesome musical acts. Be sure to tune in!
